Real-time augmented reality experience, launch and landing of the spaceship happening every 10 minutes
Once again, a last-minute project!
For the commercial launch of its new augmented reality studios, Station 141 organized an open house event.
Creating real-time broadcast production sets is extremely demanding and requires more than a generalist expertise.
When, on the eve of the event, the planned experiences failed to run properly due to performance and rendering issues, we stepped in, designed and deployed this small experience over a single weekend using the resources at hand!
We already had solid expertise in augmented reality production, which allowed us to install and run this experience without any prior testing.
The installation featured two robotic cameras that tracked the continuous takeoff and landing of a gigantic rocket in the courtyard between the buildings.
