"Immersive VR (mobile) experience with 3D sequenced actors scenario" but why ? This project was centered around the performances of actors discussing "serious matters", as the goal was to display educational content through a spectacular un-boring immersive experience, at the annual "professional accounting convention" in France.
The player could freely go around in an office environment to listen to the characters dialogue, and switch at will between difference alternatives realities of the corporate adventure of an accounting company...
An experimental technology of sequenced photogrammetry was used, integrated in the real-time 3D experience.
Less than two weeks before the event, we had to adapt the project from PC VR to mobile VR specs, due to hardware shortage!
Keeping the visual quality was a challenge, as the sequenced photogrammetry technology isn't really performance-friendly...
A 15 minutes introduction cinematic and a 45 minutes movie containing all the experience dialogue were also made.
